One of the major upcoming initiatives of the Bonab Steel Industrial Holding is the Shahriar Steel Expansion Project, which is currently under implementation.
The company’s planned projects include:
Construction of an oxygen and industrial gases plant to supply the smelting lines of the complex, in two phases, with a total capacity of 90 million cubic meters per year.
Construction of a ferroalloy production plant (producing ferrosilicon, ferrosilicomanganese, and ferromanganese) in two phases, with a total annual capacity of 50,000 tons.
Expansion of the rail line and connection to the national railway network.
This industrial complex has also incorporated development projects into its operational agenda and is actively pursuing the completion of production lines and the expansion of manufacturing capacity. Among the most important future plans of the Bonab Steel Industrial Complex, the following projects can be highlighted:
Project for the installation of the second Shahin smelting furnace, with an investment value of €54 million and an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons.
Development of coil production capability in various sizes on Production Line No. 7, with an investment of €20 million and an annual capacity of 400,000 tons.
Optimization of Production Line No. 3 to manufacture competitive products, with an investment exceeding 100 billion IRR.
Implementation and deployment of a Management Information System (MIS) under the title “Smart Factory”, with an investment of more than 80 billion IRR. Installation of a new dust collection system at Shahriar Steel, with a cost exceeding 100 billion IRR.
